I'm a certified trauma informed life coach & mindfulness practitioner with a passion for helping individuals live their best lives. My journey with mindfulness began several years ago when I was searching for peace and clarity in a fast-paced and often overwhelming world. It was through my own practice of mindfulness that I found the inner strength and resilience needed to navigate life's challenges.
As a mindfulness practitioner and trauma informed coach, I bring together my expertise in coaching and understanding of mindfulness to help individuals improve their mental health and well-being. I work with clients to help them cultivate a daily mindfulness practice, reduce stress, and find greater purpose and fulfilment in life.
My mission is to help individuals live a more intentional, mindful life. I believe in empowering my clients to become their own healers and providing them with the tools and resources necessary to reach their goals.
If you're ready to take control of your life and find peace and purpose through mindfulness, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Sign up now and let's work together to help you live your best life.
I was born and raised on Wiradjuri land, a small town in central NSW, Dubbo. I grew up quicker than your average, brought up in a home and family environment that would be socially described as chaotic and dysfunctional. Although love from my parents was always very present, the home environment was predominantly domestic violence, drug abuse, alcohol, and instability from the start of life.
Growing up, I had lived in 11 different homes by the time I was 8 years old. Change, growth and detachment was embodied from a young age for me and was something I got very used to. I was an introverted kid. I remember always talking to my “angels” (or now better known as my spiritual guides) my entire life, receiving messages and downloads that made me feel comforted, loved and as if I wasn’t alone. When I was 14, I left school and moved from my hometown to venture off to the big smoke - Sydney. This is where my self-proclaimed independence really started to kick in. I lived alone, I worked as a hairdressing apprentice at $8 an hour, 12 hour days, 6 days a week.
I loved Sydney. I felt a sense of freedom and like everyone I met had a unique style and was on a journey of uncovering their true self.
After this, I changed gears again and started my studies in Community Services, curbing my hunger for being of service to others in vulnerable situations. I started working in the Child Protection Arena as an Aboriginal Activities Facilitator, I then moved into the position of Case Worker at the ripe age of 18 years old in a program that worked to prevent children at risk of being removed from their home environments and caretakers. My role was to intervene and support, implementing different lifestyle factors for these kids and parents to get one last shot of a better path for their family. Shortly after I moved into Youth Homelessness, finding under 18’s with no place to call her home, their own secure homes to live in.
I later transitioned into what I would describe one of the toughest roles in my career to date. I would be working with Adults who had Severe Mental Health. Each one of my clients had diagnosed Schizophrenia and Split Personality Disorder. I was a Community Case Manager for Adult Men. The twist here was that these men I worked with had been granted a mental health order and diverted from prison into the care of mental health professionals. In this role, I assisted and worked with men who had murdered, committed a range of crimes and much more.
My relationship and way of seeing others has always been through a lens of no judgement, from a place of understanding and compassion. I experienced what it felt like to be different and misunderstood in society, and to also lead a life from a colourful past. I have a strong passion to shine light in the darkest corners of the world.
